This is my take on new-ish games that are either out of due to be released. Please rate, comment and share with people. Monday, 10 February World of Tanks Xbox – Update I know that the date of this blog is before the general release to the whole wide world but I feel compelled to put my stamp once again on World of Tanks for the Xbox as someway to alert people who are looking to start the game out what to expect. The game itself is not too different to the beta so a lot of points I’ve raised in the previous blog are similar to the actual game and as such don’t need to be repeated but I can at least provide a view from a standard gamer on the pro’s and con’s of the game play itself. We start off with the normal problems that people have posted in the forums surrounding players just starting out West coast players Things such as spotting and MM at the moment are working as they should. Once you get to play the game your understanding will improve. This is not Call of Duty or Halo and should not be treated as such. Each tank class and tank themselves have aspects about them that make them good in certain situations. Not a lot of armour so is best to avoid being spotted.

Jock — December 23, Posted in: Unsurprisingly, as a WWII military-history buff, I have more than a passing interest in the German branch of this tree. It is this reputation that has me almost exclusively exploring the German Tech Tree in the game. Why choose the German Tech Tree? Firstly, the aesthetics of German armor attract many players.
Simply put, German tanks just look like what you would think an armored fighting vehicle should look like. This sounds trite, but the same cannot be said for most of the armor in the French line, for example. They have many right-angles and can easily be differentiated from the softer, shallower lines of the Soviets. As well, the German tanks tend to be more expensive than other tanks and thus it takes a lot of work to buy them.
German armor tends to have reasonably good engines for acceleration , decent armor, outstanding gun accuracy both in a static situation and on the run. The upper tier of the German line is especially good, but many new WoT players choose not to follow the Germany tech tree and instead opt to go the Russian direction.

Well, I took a shot at that last night, and good things happened. XVM showed that I was the only non-red player on my team, and there was only one non-red player the opposing team — but he was in a Tier III tank. However, it was clear that I should be able to get a good game out of this match-up.

Free-to-Play For a free-to-play game, World of Tanks does a good job of tempting gamers to shell out cash. Its highly addictive gameplay means that gamers who start playing are likely to stick around. The ability to purchase gold allows players to accelerate their progress through the game. None – Do cheat codes disable achievements? No Cheats – Does difficulty affect achievements? None – Unobtainable achievements: None – Extra equipment needed?
In this tank it’s somewhat the same, but don’t expect too much. I will show you the reason in the later parts. This is the boring part so I put it all in the Spoiler. Built from until to equip the armored divisions of the Cavalry, it was, for its time, a relatively agile medium-weight tank, superior in armor and armament to both its French and foreign competitors. It was constructed from well-sloped, cast armor sections that afforded it good armor protection but made it expensive to produce and time-consuming to maintain.
During the German invasion of May , the SOMUA S35 proved itself to be tactically effective, but this was negated by strategic mistakes in the deployment of its units.

TIER 2 This is the first step outside of the starter tanks for most players and offers many more choices in what to play than the previous tier. It is most players’ first introduction to different classes of tanks in TDs and SPGs and offers a wide variety in choices of what to play. Because this is so near to where new players begin, and because getting past the first tier is so easy, many new players to the game can be found in tier two.
Some of the wildest and most unpredictable things can take place in this tier. Among the very new can be found the very experienced, who bring forth a level of knowledge and execution found more commonly in higher tiers. Such people who find success or spend great amounts of time there by comparison to their higher tier performance are known as “clubbers”. Tier two is unique in that it has many tanks in tier and in tiers above and below which can equip autocannons. These guns fire bursts of rounds in succession with a long reload between clips, low penetration, and limited range.
This offers a playstyle similar to how “derp” tactics work – popping out of covers to deliver a strong attack or burst in this case , and then retreating back to cover. It manages to be effective, despite the guns’ weak penetration, because most tanks in the tier have weak enough armor to be somewhat reliably penetrated, though not typically by every shell.

Why is artillery cancer? Also we have to wait for you to fuck up, which means no initiative can be taken at all someone can sit in the back and kill people with it First off, what do you even expect ithem to do? You don’t have the speed to keep up with everyone else mostly , you don’t have the armor or health to take a hit once you get there, you don’t have the aim time to really do anything before you get shot to shit, you don’t have the reload speed to really accomplish anything but one shot, and you don’t have the view range to go off and do something yourself.
Camping in the back is the only thing artillery has in this game. And after all of that, “” “”””””potentially””””””” one-shotting somebody is completely dependent on whether RNGesus decided to stop shitting on arty and actually land a shot for once. And even if you do, it’s 40 seconds to the next one, during which you can do whatever the fuck you want because it has to aim AGAIN every time you move.
How to Get the Scavenger 15 Oct Well hello there, survivor! Word has it you were kinda taken aback at the general meeting. They say that our life sucks and we have to fight for food and water all the time. I’m not going to comfort you and pretend that we’re sleeping on feather beds. But right now, you can calm down a little: The other day, I received an invitation from our elders to have some tea I mean, some water with dust.
We’ll give a tank to the warriors, so that they can get more fuel and supplies for us. All you need to do is prove that you are worth your salt, which means winning 50 battles. You have to admit, it’s not too much to ask.

Since in addition to being very light, the tank was also very short half a meter shorter than the AMX , the driver used a reclined position and the gunner had to have his body halfway inside the hull, making turret traverse limited: The prototype is preserved at the Museum of Armour in Saumur. These prototypes featured a oscillating turret with a cupola for the gunner located along the turret centerline. The turret itself was offset to the left in order to make room for a driver’s compartment in the hull.
These weapons were to be reloaded by the driver either by rotating the turret so that the driver could open his hatch and insert new projectiles without leaving his seat, or by having the driver climb out and reload the weapons from a standing position next to the tank.
China was a quilt of hostile states. Japan was eyeing continental territories, resulting in a full scale war. Great Britain attempted to participate in the conflict, which complicated affairs. In short, there was a rich potential for tank warfare. The Chinese armies had a miserly amount of armoured vehicles, which could not influence the situation significantly. Soviet MS-1s were typical infantry support tanks: T es and BT tanks with 45 mm guns that appeared later were significantly superior.
